This is a great scope at a great price
You’ll get more features than you’ll know what to do with. I enjoy taking pictures and recording from my scope. The night vision is a fun and useful feature. The ballistics help make a young inexperienced shooter 3 times better overnight. The GPS help keep track of your favorite hi ting locations or downed animals. Fully recommend givong this scope a go.

Good night vision scope!
This is my first digital day and night vision scope. I have extensive experience with optics rifle scopes. And I can mark something I like. It is made of metal and feels very solidly built. The menu is very easy to navigate. Image quality is surprisingly good in good light. Especially at 1x magnification, which really is 3x magnification. The magnification is digital and if you’re familiar with digital zooms on your phones, it is not nearly as good as optical zoom. On the full zoom mode, the image starts to pixelate. A lot of people said that the image is shaky. They apparently don’t know much about optics, because when you’re at 3x optical equivalent, your movement and shakes are 3x worse than 1x. At 14x optical equivalent, you’re movements and shakes are 14x magnified. This is how optics work. Night vision is great with the supported IR illuminator. This is great for hunting at night, but the illuminator will obviously give away your position to others using night vision devices. The scope also can make a video recording, but I’ve not used this feature yet. And finally, I need to tell some words about the battery. The battery life is near 18 hours and you can use a battery bank if you need. Overall, I think this is a very nice scope for most purposes for the price near $1000 and it’s much easier to use than an optical scope. The one shot zero is much better than oldscools knobs and zero stops, etc. It has a lots of retinal choices.

Great! I’m glad I went with a 2x base zoom model because it’s fun to look at things closer up too using it as a handheld. If it were zoomed in any further you’d need to be fully across the room from something to look at it at all. Yet I can still positively ID something like a turkey at 150 yards easily, larger animals further than that.
I have an AGM Asp TM-160 also and it’s a COMPLETELY different experience. For a point of reference, the asp is better for things within about 5 feet of me or just scanning the backyard for a heat blip, but if there’s, say, a neighborhood cat at the back of the yard the asp gets a little white dot but with the wraith I can tell WHICH CAT it is.
Battery life is totally fine, you get several hours no problem. If you really need it to last longer get a battery pack or bring spares. Takes 2 seconds to change them out. I like to use rechargeables with it.
Battery door catch can potentially get popped open if bumped just right. Not likely but worth noting if you plan to be bushwhacking a lot.
Very happy with it. Glad I got a something higher than a 256 core.

I’m satisfied with this LPVO.
Used 7 rounds for the initial sight in, and was satisfied. Installed on my PA 10 G3 built from a kit. At 1X I can aquire a target like I would on a red dot. The illumination is great for low light conditions. Like the reticle, hold overs, and ranging. I have many Vortex optics and have been happy so far.

Fun hog hunting
This scope takes the guesswork out of hunting hogs at night. It works much better than i anticipated that it would. it is also a good scope for day hunting. I really like that it is also a video recorder. You can share your hunts with friends and family.

I purchased the 4X16 HD 2 Day/night scope for a Texas hog hunt, I love the scope it has good image quality and clear enough to see .300 black out holes in the target 100 yards out in day light . The controls are intuitive and easy to manage, I will be using it this deer season 2020 . The zeroing process is simple and quick entering load data is also very easy and found its BDC effective I would highly recommend any of the products offered by ATN, and will be purchasing one of their thermal imaging scopes shortly. On another note their customer service is top notch, I had the pleasure of speaking with Austin Burton who was Abel to assist me with my questions quickly & effectively, it was obvious that he commanded a great amount of expertise. All in all I guarantee you will love this scope !!

Ships inoperative!!
First thing you need to know is this thing ships as a brick. It will not work when you get it. AFS offers zero support. Someone from ATN will eventually shotgun you 4 or 5 firmware files for you to experiment with and figure out which one works. I’ve fd around with this for over a month and I’m still only at about a 90% solution. You’ll need windows 10 also.

I can see in the dark!
This is my first digital optic and so far so good. Well made and good fit and finish. I have limited need for a shoot more than 100-200 yards. That’s why I’ve chosen this unit and it met all expectations. I have tried it at night with the built-in IR light at 100-125 yards and it is very clear. Based on all that, I have no doubt it would perform well at longer distances.

Good scope but illuminator is weak.
A good day/night scope with a ton of features. The only reason that I didn’t give it 5 stars is the IR illuminator. The illuminator is weak and only provides illumination out to 75-100 yards. It also eats batteries, which only give an hour or two of power. I just upgraded to a more powerful illuminator, which is a huge improvement.

Manage your expectations!
So far it more-or-less works as advertised, and also as expected. The features learning curve after opening the box can be a bit daunting, but if you take your time to understand and play with the each of the options before you ever mount it – it really is quite straightforward. As many have said, you will pick your favorite features and stick to those. Others such as the ballistics calculator aren’t as appealing in real life as the advertising was we all have seen, but it works – just a bit cumbersome. Also, as others have experienced, I’ve had the unit lock up a handful of times. However, powering down and back up usually gets it working again. I didn’t even bother with the included IR Illuminator given all the poor reviews, but the sight works great with the one I bought separately. One-shot-zero is pretty cool, but 1 shot is still a bit far-fetched. The Obsidian app feels and performs like an afterthought from marketing though. It needs to be reworked. Overall happy customer though given the price point, and I’m looking forward to using it much more.

Nice scope, just what I needed.
Seems like a good scope, got it put on easy enough and it looks good on the rifle. Only issue I had was as I pulled it out of the box I saw that one side of the bungeed lens cover was broke and fell out. When I looked at the other side I seen it was cracked, but as I pointed it out to my wife that fell out too. I guess it’s fine, dont ever use them anyway. Over all seems great, only gave 4 stars because of this, not sure if it was qc, shipping, or packaging. I’ve got other vortex products and they are all great, never any issue.

Glad I made the change from my MRO Trijicon *sold to a buddy.This scope def is nicer than I expected. A little heavy compared to a micro Red dot but worth the range. My first vortex product, very impressed.*Glass is clear, 1x looks accurate to me. Eye relief close to MRO*Screw in throw lever very nice and rotation is smooth and accurate.*Love the reticle, the middle dog with arc is clear when powered on, and I love the new hash posts in black on the 9pm, 6pm and 3pm marks *sets my eye up.*Free vortex mount was also great! Easy to setup. Great looks and with perfect offset on AERO UPPER.*If the strike Eagle is considered a lower end vortex LPVO scope, I can’t imagine there high end products.
